Watch this space

When one door closes, another door opens. In the very spot that the vintage and decor shop, Feathered Nest, vacated on South Third St. is now to be the home of the first independent music store in Renton. Now that's sounding good. Welcome Tyrannosaurus Records!

The signs are up and we all saw St. Charles Place owner walking Nick, of Tyrannosaurus Records, over to the building last weekend. Seems like the deal has been done and the shop will be opening come August. From what I have gleaned from word on the street - there will be vinyl (this is definitely on the rise again in popularity with indie bands these days) and CDs for sale. A place to hear new and upcoming bands and the the tinkle of music on our main drag - exhilarating.

Keep you eyes on this store front - things are changing mighty fast on our ole downtown thoroughfare. And it's lookin' good!
