Fisherman were out quietly trolling by, poles at the ready - but mostly I just saw empty nets and still hopeful faces.

Playing at the water's edge
Seemed as if every nook and cranny of the Cedar River trail and the river's edge, as it skirts along Nishiwaki Lane was in use - families out playing, picnicking and sometimes taking a dip.

Fisherman were out quietly trolling by, poles at the ready - but mostly I just saw empty nets and still hopeful faces.

Traveling within the zipcode - Nishiwaki Lane
You don't have to go far to enjoy yourself- just follow Nishiwaki Lane to it's end and your at both river and lake's edge. Pull up a bench and a book, take your bike and cruise, pick up your pole and fish or just gaze in wonder at the incredible rays of SUN...
