Last night, the Renton McLendon's Store was preparing nearly a dozen tables for their free event today, Saturday, concerning the Green River flooding that is anticipated this Fall. Free Flood Preparedness Clinic
Residences and businesses in the Green River Valley that do not typically see floodwater should get prepared now for flooding. These areas include Renton, South Seattle, Tukwila and Kent. The increased flood risk is due to water seeping more rapidly through the earthen Howard Hanson dam.
