Flea Market - oh, shopping heaven!

You remember what fun it was to shop at The Feathered Nest down on South Third Street, don't you? Well, Melanie and Sue, the previous owners of that cutely appointed store and St. Charles Place Antiques around the corner on Wells are joining forces and hosting a Flea Market. Those folks have a good eye for lovelies and it will be a welcome weekend outing addition to see what they have found for us to oggle and ooohhh over. I don't know about you, but I sorely miss The Feathered Nest and Sweet Grass. I bought the best smelling candles and many wonderful gifts for my home decor and for friends from those two establishments. This Flea Market will be a great time to catch up on some much needed shopping.

Furniture, tools,books,glassware and much more. Plenty of parking in the City owned lot that is just north of the store, Venus Moon.

Good day for Gardening in dear ole Renton

These blooms are from a house on Wells Street, here in the DTR (that is Downtown Renton to all of you - the new Renton lingo ringing through!)

Aren't they just gorgeous! It's not to late, you know - to add the daffodil, tulip color into your life. Just head to McLendon's today - you'll see the parking lot is full of gardeners today!

Who doesn't like a sale...

Melanie and Sue, the two gals that own The Feathered Nest on South Third Street here in Renton, are having a Flea Market. Beginning tomorrow, Saturday Feb.21 and Sunday, Feb.22 from 10 am till 5 pm, at a space between The Uptown Glassworks and Venus Moon at 226 Main Ave. S. Vintage or new- something for you - parking lot is just north of there and is free and easy access. So head out and get your shop groove on!!
